Other quality wines
Other wines held in high esteem, with no certification but no less enjoyable have come from this fertile land and wine-growing tradition which has always been interested in research and experimentation. These wines are representative of various local wine makers and have had excellent results. One of the most interesting crossings is the Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13, the most famous and popular of the four crossings created by Professor Luigi Manzoni from the wine school in Conegliano. The wine was made by the famous professor by crossing the Rhenish, Riesling and Pinot Bianco vines.
Some very rare and ancient vines are cultivated with dedication by some wine makers and are really interesting and traditional too. The Piave area also offers excellent wines like Prosecco, Refosco, Riesling, Malbech and Verduzzo Trevigiano.
